Domiciliary means "concerned with or occurring in someone's home." Therefore, Domiciliary Care just means providing Care within a Client's Home.
What qualifies as Palliative Care?
Palliative Care is given to improve the quality of life of patients who have a serious or life-threatening disease, such as Cancer. Palliative Care can be either Short Term or Long Term depending on the condition or illness of the Client and all our Palliative Care is provided within the comfort of the Client's Home or preferred setting.

We can also arrange collection or delivery of your Medication should you not be able to obtain it yourself.
Will I get lots of different Carers?
Our aim is to keep a small circle of Carers around each Client to allow special bonds to develop and relationships to flourish. We believe that it is important so our Care Staff can fully understand the Client's needs and should those needs change; our Carers can recognise changes and act upon them seamlessly and with immediate effect.
How do I increase or decrease my Care calls?
Should you feel you require extra support, or in fact you don't require the full allowance in which you have been provided. You can easily contact one of our Allocations Team who will then liaise with your Social Worker regarding increasing/decreasing your Care calls.
How do I get equipment I need for my Care at Home?
There are a number of different external agencies that may be available to you. When we come to do our Initial Assessment, we can advise you on the best option.
I can't always get to the door, how can I make sure the Carers can get in?
We often recommend installing a key safe outside your Front Door. This is a Small Box in which is opened and locked using your chosen secret number, in here you can keep a spare key which the Care Staff will use to enter your Property. Your safety and security is our upmost priority and using a key safe often provides our Client's with the assurance that they will be secure within their Home, throughout the night, once the Care Staff has left.
I am frightened of falling and not sure I should stay on my own, is there anything that can help me stay at Home?
You can wear a Lifeline as a Necklace or a Watch to ensure you have immediate assistance should you suffer from a fall. Preventative measures can be put into place to help ensure it doesn't happen in the first place, and these can be discussed with our Team Leader during your Initial Assessment.
