1. What or who made you decide you wanted a career in care and is it something you have always wanted to do?



I have family in the care industry and they encouraged me to get into care as they believe I would excel in the industry.



2. Can you describe your experience as a Care Assistant, working throughout the pandemic and what impact this experience has had on you?



Working through the pandemic as a care assistant I can only describe the experience as hard work and tiring but overall it is so rewarding on a daily basis. The impact from the experience has made me a better person and increased my knowledge, especially of how hard the staff work in the care sector.



3. If you had to describe your employment with PCS in three words, what would they be?



Rewarding

Hardworking

Knowledgeable



4. What inspires or motivates you to get up every day during a pandemic and continue doing your job to the best of your ability?



During the pandemic the clients motivate and inspire me to get up everyday as I classed them as not just clients but as extended family and even having a chat during the visit can make their day just that little better.



5. Has your new chosen career changed your perspective on the healthcare sector, if yes, please explain how?



Working in my new career it has changed my perspective on the sector by showing how hard the sector works especially during the pandemic and that nothing will slow them and will provide the care to the highest standard.
